Volunteer as Teacher

Short Term Aim

In your classroom you have the chance to teach great lessons every day for your students. Our school will equip you with the active learning strategies you need to bring the Ugandan curriculum to life. Our aim is not only to deliver content but also skills, useful not only in the classroom but beyond.

Medium Term Aim

Our primary teaching volunteers are the glue that holds all our projects together, acting as ambassadors for Tennis For All every day in our partner schools. By modelling great teaching and building strong relationships in every staffroom, we aim to inspire local teachers to adopt learner-centred approaches to teaching.

Long Term Aim

By improving education for children across our partner schools, we aim to give thousands of children the educational attainment and skills they need to take control of their own lives. Education is not only the single best route out of poverty;it is “the most powerful weapon we have to change the world.”
